This sea stack is located in the north of Iceland in Húnaflói Bay. As you can see in the image, the light from the nearby towns can be seen across the water.

Even though it is most common to see green Northern Lights, the colors can vary. This image has captured the more subtle yet mystical light blue hues. The ombré effect fades from light blue to green over a small mountain at the far end of Lake Mývatn. Finding a body of water to watch the Northern Lights dance over adds so much to the experience, as you can see from this picture.
