Itinerary

This unique beer spa in the north of Iceland provides a relaxing spa treatment and delicious local beer tasting. It is an incredible opportunity for beer lovers who want to gain some insight into how Icelandic beer is made and get a taste of local specialties.

The beer spa was created by blending two things Iceland is known for: hot springs and beer! This unique experience combines two of the best things for every beer lover: delicious local beer tasting and relaxing spa treatment.

Iceland's first beer spa opened in 2017 near the town of Árskógssandur, known for its excellent beer. Spa in the north of Iceland offers an escape from modern life by soaking in a warm beer hot tub. Live yeast which lives in young beer, has been shown to affect people's skin positively. An option to improve the condition of your skin by having an ice-cold glass of Iceland's finest sounds tempting to you? Then join in!

Since yeast is believed to be beneficial for the skin, it is recommended not to shower for at least four hours after treatment, to give it time to nourish your skin.

After a 25-minute soak in a private bathtub (for you alone or for you and your loved one), you'll pass to a relaxation area where you can chill and enjoy another beer if you wish.
