Itinerary

Bathing in geothermal pools is so deeply rooted in everyday life that it has become an important part of the Icelandic tradition. You can become part of this tradition as well by visiting Vök Baths! Modern baths are located on the edge of the Urriðavatn Lake and offer the country’s only floating infinity pools, two on-shore heated pools, a cold water tunnel, an on-site restaurant, and a bar.

Relax in the geothermal baths surrounded by the amazing scenery of Lake Urriðavatn. Vök Baths are distinguished by their modern design and the only floating infinity pools in Iceland. So, pack your bathing suit and get ready for one of the most relaxing experiences in Iceland!

Besides the geothermal pools, Vök Baths have a cafe and a restaurant.

Infusion bar

At the infusion bar, you will be able to choose from a wide selection of foraged teas and other herbal drinks made with purified spring water from the lake. Visitors of the baths are also able to try a delicious tisane made from the heated water from the lake that has been cooled down. Tisane is included in the admission fee.

Café & restaurant

There’s also an on-site cafe and restaurant at Vök Baths. Here you can enjoy various soups, salads, and desserts, as well as delicious homemade bread. All the dishes at the cafe are made from local ingredients, so you’ll actually get an authentic taste of the eastern part of Iceland!
