Itinerary

Snowmobiling is one of the most fun ways to explore Iceland during the cold season. One of the places you can enjoy the adventure of riding a snowmobile is around Lake Myvatn. What makes it an even more special experience is a professional guide who is there every step of the way.

Once you arrive at the location, your guide will provide you with the necessary gear, a helmet, and overalls and give instructions on how to operate the vehicle.

The tour will take approximately 2 - 2.5 hours, and the ride will take an hour. During this time, you’ll get to enjoy the icy landscape and black volcanoes covered in snow.

  • Pre-booking is required;
  • You’ll need to present a valid driver’s license;
  • Single rides are recommended for beginners as this way, it’s easier to operate the vehicle;
  • You’ll have to sign a liability waiver before departure;
  • Due to bad weather or road conditions, the tour might be canceled or rescheduled. In this case, all canceled tours are 100 % refunded.
  • Availability: 1st of November – 31st of May (Note: April & May have different starting locations, so please check your ticket).
