Discover the thrill of jet skiing as you explore the bay near Reykjavik. For a full hour, see puffins living on the cliffs surrounding the bay and zoom past the stunning coastline of Viðey - a picturesque island.

An expert guide will accompany you and your fellow adventurers throughout the tour, ensuring your trip is safe and exciting. The helmets have a communication system, so you can talk with your guide as you skid through the water.

Please note

The tour is two hours in total, with one hour allocated for jet skiing.

All prices are per person. For the Double rider option, you need to select 2x for each jet ski that you want to book; for the Single rider option, you select 1x per jet ski. If you want to book for an adult and a child on the same jetski, you select 1x Double rider and 1x Child.

Pick-up: Available for 4,000 ISK per person from the downtown Reykjavík area. Select one of the available pick-up locations in the drop-down menu on the booking widget before booking, and please be ready at your chosen location 30 minutes before the tour starts.

When paying for pick-up, drop-off at the same location is included as well.

Will I Get Cold?

Not likely! You’ll be suited up in a warm fleece layer and a top-quality dry suit, plus gloves, shoes, and a helmet. The gear is designed to keep you comfortable—rain or shine.

Can Anyone Ride a Jet Ski?

To operate a jet ski, you need to be at least 17 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Kids aged 8 and up can join as passengers, riding with a licensed adult.

What Happens if the Weather Is Bad?

Safety comes first. If conditions on the water aren’t suitable, the tour may be rescheduled or fully refunded. You’ll be informed in advance if there are any changes.

Do I Need to Book Separately If We’re Sharing a Jet Ski?

Yes—if you’re choosing the Double Rider option, each person still needs to book their own ticket. That means selecting one ticket per person, not per jet ski.

Can the guide tell me whether I'm eligible to reschedule the tour or get a refund?

No. Guides can't confirm eligibility or change bookings during a tour. Rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Customer Care, so contact them with your booking number, and they'll check your options against the policy for your tour. Tours run by partner companies follow the partner's own policy, which Customer Care can also explain.
