The People of Arctic Adventures on Instagram

The Arctic Adventures team is a group of outdoorsy people with a constant passion for adventures.

No matter where you look inside the company you will find adventurers. Many of our team members are in the Search and Rescue team in Iceland where they use their passion to do good.

It might not come as much of a surprise that our guides are all about the outdoors and adventures but within the office walls, you’ll find equal nature lovers. Our CEO Jón, for example, spends his free time skiing in the north, Ragnheiður in Finance is a vivid golfer, our social media manager goes sea swimming throughout winter and Billi in operations used to be a yoga instructor.

Project Manager for Multi-day tours

Interests:  Outdoor activities, hunting, skiing, mountain hiking, Icelandic beer and football.

Graphic Designer in the Marketing team

Interests: Photography, travel and being outdoors, art and crafts, horseback riding, snowmobiling, beer tasting,  waterfalls, and baking cakes.

Head of Snorkeling and Diving

Interest: Diving, underwater photography and cheese.

Guide and Photographer

Interests: Photography, playing music, glaciers, volcanoes, and waterfalls and being high up and far away from civilization.

Glacier Guide

Interests: Paddling and any sort of adventure in the outdoors!

Project Manager for Snowmobile.is

Interests: Traveling abroad and inside the country, all sorts of outdoor activities, quality time with friends and family and reading a good book.

Guide / Jack of many trades

Interests: Rock climbing, skiing, kayaking, hiking, Mountain biking, camping, reading a good book, traveling, trying new things and just being outdoors whatever she’s doing.

Kayaking, glacier and hiking guide

Interests: Basically all adventure sports from ski touring to trail running, the outdoors, camping in the highlands, adventure cycling, traveling, Iceland in general and the Icelandic language.

Operations

Interests: Kayaking, Þórsmörk valley, rafting, glaciers, highlands, the search and rescue squad, volcanic activity and just everything that has to do with the outdoors.
