About tour
Iceland's glaciers and its coastline normally mean two separate days. Booking both into a single 12-hour day gives you a snowmobile on Langjökull glacier and a jet ski in Faxaflói Bay the same evening.
Langjökull is Iceland's second-largest ice cap, with ice 580 m (1,903 ft) deep at its thickest. You'll cover about an hour of that plateau by snowmobile, with one guide to every six machines. The jet ski departs from Gufunesvegur in Reykjavík, taking you out with the city skyline behind you and the Atlantic ahead. Each activity is booked and operated separately, which works in your favor: if weather grounds one, the other still goes ahead.
