Customer service agent - Email and call center

Arctic Adventures is looking for a skilled problem solver to join its team as a Customer Service Agent. We need an enthusiastic, organized and friendly individual who can listen to and solve customer service issues and offer exceptional service to our customers.
The representative must have a good product knowledge and will be well-trained in order to offer quick and accurate assistance to our customers. In this role, you will interact directly with our customers to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service.
The agent will work on flexible shifts and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and report to managers. The target is to ensure excellent service and maintain high customer satisfaction.


Skills & requirements
  • Proficiency in English. Other language skills highly recommended
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Basic computer skills and excellent phone disposition
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Experience in providing customer service support
  • Customer service orientation
Responsibilities: 
  • Answer incoming customer calls and messages through other channels regarding booking issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns in a promptly manner
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in the company’s policies and product line.
  • Impact the company’s guidelines by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into satisfied customers
  • Make product and service suggestions to meet the customer’s needs
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Sell products and services and update customer information
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
