Itinerary new

From the stunning South with its glaciers and waterfalls to the ancient fjords and breathtaking views of the East, experience Iceland like never before on a private adventure around the Ring Road. In the North, explore charming fishing villages and search for whales in the sea. Finally, uncover the wild beauty of the West, with its dramatic cliffs.

With unique highlights in every region, this tour is your best chance to discover the real Iceland.

The tour length is flexible based on your interests and the number of sights you want to explore. We are happy to accompany you on this extraordinary journey and share the experience together!

The Golden Circle is a perfect starting point for your memorable Iceland trip. This famous tourist route encompasses three of the country’s greatest destinations.

Thingvellir National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the place where the first Icelandic parliament was founded! The park also features the valley where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates meet. Fancy a nice walk between two continents? You can do it in Thingvellir!

Haukadalur Valley is the most famous geothermal area in Iceland. Visit the Great Geysir, the one that all the other geysers are named after, and admire the powerful eruptions of his active neighbor Strokkur that bursts fountains of water every 4-10 minutes!

Gullfoss Waterfall is a majestic giant featuring not one but two powerful cascades. Occasionally, rainbows arch over the cascades, creating a magical and enchanting sight. Hear the story about saving Gullfoss while admiring its power from up close!

The Southern part of Iceland is characterized by numerous waterfalls, glaciers, and black sand beaches that will undoubtedly take your breath away.

Stroll along the black sands of Diamond Beach, marveling at the shimmering ice pieces scattered across the shore. Discover the abandoned DC plane wreck on the Sólheimasandur Beach, and explore Reynisfjara Beach, Iceland’s most famous black sand beach, soaked in legends and folktales.

Ready to hike on beautiful ice? Explore the incredible glaciers of the South Coast. Visit Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull, or the stunning blue Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Enjoy exciting activities like hiking and snowmobiling on these massive ice fields, or sail through the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon.

Another great wonder of the South Coast and an Icelandic trademark - waterfalls. Two of the most famous ones are Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. You can walk behind the fascinating cascade of Seljalandsfoss (the splash is real!).

East Iceland is known for its majestic fjords, charming coastal villages, and bird population. The East Fjords extend along a 120-kilometer (75-mile) coastline. One of the most popular activities in East Iceland is puffin watching. Borgarfjörður Eystri (a picturesque fjord in the East) is one of the most popular and safest places to observe puffins.

Hengifoss is one of Iceland's three tallest waterfalls. Its striking layers of red clay and basalt design a great view. Don't miss the stunning Stuðlagil Canyon, where vibrant blue waters flow between towering basalt columns—it's one of those jaw-dropping sights that will have you reaching for your camera. Unwind at Vök Baths, a geothermal infinity pool with naturally heated waters.

Want to visit a place tucked away from the usual tourist routes? Wilderness Center is a secret spot in the middle of nowhere. We can take you there to enjoy an authentic way of life and spend time in the wildest region of Iceland.

The North of Iceland is known for its abundant marine life and charming coastal towns. In fact, some of the best whale-watching spots are found in this region. The small villages here are particularly famous for their successful whale sightings. Húsavík is the top spot for seeing humpback and minke whales, with a high chance of over 90%!

But North Iceland has even more to offer. Akureyri, known as the "Capital of North Iceland," impresses with its beautiful landscapes and lively arts scene. Lake Mývatn is full of hot springs and various birds. You can even watch the roaring Dettifoss - the most powerful waterfall in Europe. Goðafoss, also known as the "Waterfall of the Gods," is another fantastic sight. Nature lovers will enjoy the peaceful trails of Ásbyrgi Canyon.

West Iceland is famous for its magnificent lava formations, glaciers, and stunning landscapes. The region's highlight is the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, a 56-mile (90 km) cape that juts into the North Atlantic Ocean. Often called “Iceland in miniature,” this area showcases a bit of everything the country has. Here, you can find the iconic Kirkjufell, widely considered the most dramatic mountain in Iceland!

You’ll also encounter Glymur Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in the country, and the historic site of Reykholt, home to medieval writer Snorri Sturluson. Don’t miss the powerful Deildartunguhver hot spring - the most powerful in Europe! Discover the dramatic Berserkjahraun lava field linked to Viking legends. Visit the black pebble beach of Djúpalónssandur and hear tales of shipwrecks. Spot seals at Ytri-Tunga before enjoying a delicious Icelandic hot dog in Borgarnes. West Iceland will be a worthy conclusion to this expedition.

Finally, we return to Reykjavík, bringing unforgettable memories from this epic road trip!

We're happy to book any hotel, guesthouse, or cabin that fits your itinerary. Accommodation during the expedition will be included in the tour price.

Extra activities can be easily added to your itinerary for an additional fee.

While glacier hiking or whale-watching activities are usually conducted in groups, we can also arrange them as private experiences. For such requests or other special inquiries, please contact us.
