The Lava Show

The event will occur in a little dark room in which the center stands furnace. Suddenly, a beam of orange light brightens the room as molten lava comes from a hole in the ice. About the founders of the show

The Icelandic Lava Show, the only place that provides people with such an experience, was founded by Júlíus and Ragnhildur. The husband and wife duo always knew that they wanted to create a company together. In 2010, the couple witnessed the volcanic eruption at Fimmvörðuháls. Júlíus and Ragnhildur were fascinated by this experience, seeing the battle of fire and ice in front of their eyes. Knowing how incredible and mesmerizing this event was, enchanted by that strong heat, deep sounds, and strong smells, they wanted to share this experience with more people. This is how the idea of creating such a place came to life. Knowing how dangerous volcanic eruptions are in real life, the two found a safe way for people to witness this natural wonder.
