Itinerary

Say hello to the dogs when you arrive at Vallholt Kennel. Use the toilet and borrow overalls, boots, or other winter gear if needed. Spend time getting to know the unchained huskies and discovering their different personalities while your musher explains their family connections. A short safety briefing follows before the sledding begins.

Settle into the sled as the huskies prepare to leave. Barking and howling are common at this point because the dogs are eager to get moving.

Follow a 6 to 8 km (3.7 to 5 mi) trail for 40 to 60 minutes, stopping for photos along the way. You may also try mushing with guidance from your musher if you’re interested and conditions allow.

Return to the kennel for a few final photos with the dogs before saying goodbye.
