Your camper comes fully equipped and ready for the road — with bedding, kitchen gear, heating, a sink, stove, safety tools, and unlimited mileage. Basic insurance (CDW) is included, and you can add extras like WiFi, camping gear, or BBQ sets if needed.
To rent, you must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and a credit card with at least €2,500 available for the security deposit hold. If you use a debit card or prepaid card, you’ll just need to choose the Premium+ insurance or a Bundle.

You can cancel up to 24 hours before pickup and get a full refund — no questions asked. If you need to change dates or camper type, you can do so before arrival or during check-in, depending on availability.
No, Happy Campers vans do not come with built-in toilets or showers. Most travelers use facilities at campsites, which are well distributed across Iceland and offer clean restrooms, hot showers, and other amenities.
You can only drive on F-roads if you rent a 4x4 camper model (such as the Happy 4x4 or 4x4 XL). F-roads are rough mountain tracks and are off-limits to 2WD campers. Always check road conditions and make sure the specific route is legally accessible with your rental.
