Please note that all departures have been closed down for the 2016 season due to unfavorable conditions on the summit. Hikes up to Hvannadalshnjukur will be available again in the spring of 2017.
Duration: Approximately 13 hours.
Departure time: 05:00 from our Skaftafell sales office (gray house with turf roof).
Minimum age: 18 years.
Included: Glacier hiking tour with a certified glacier guide, necessary instruction, and glacier gear.

Please note: Skaftafell is located 327km (203 miles) from Reykjavík. The nearest towns to Skaftafell are Kirkjubæjarklaustur, 69km to the west and Höfn, 130km to the east.
Maximum number of participants: 8 persons per guide.
