Snowmobiling on a glacier is the perfect way spend your vacation here in Iceland. You meet at our base camp on Langjokull Glacier (See driving directions) for a 1 hour snowmobile ride on Europe’s 2nd largest glacier. Upon arrival to our basecamp your certified glacier guide will provide you with all the snowmobile gear needed for the tour, ensuring that you will stay safe and warm during your 1 hour snowmobile ride. In continuum your guide will go over how to safely operate the snowmobile before you head off on a 1 hour ride on the glacier. This tour is a unique experience that you should definitely not let slip through your fingers!
If you are not able to meet us at our basecamp, please take a look at our other snowmobile tours which include pick up from Reykjavik or Gullfoss:
This tour offers daily departures from our Langjokull base camp. We kindly ask you to meet us there no later than 15 minutes before your departure time. Driving from Reykjavík takes around 2 and a half hour so please make sure you calculate enough time for your drive.

If you wish to have a solo snowmobile but do not have a valid drivers license then you can book an extra guide to operate your snowmobile for an additional 40.000 ISK. Please contact our sales desk for further information and booking.
The road from Gullfoss to the Base road is an F-road so please contact your Car Rental in order to see if you are allowed to drive F-roads.
Meet on location means travelling to the location of the tour yourself and then meeting our tour guides rather than being picked up and taken to the location.
This is a great question. We ask all participants to be ready from the start of the pickup time indicated. This is because you may well be the first pick up of the day. Please be at your assigned location at the start time that you chose when booking the tour.
Here you should wait for your guide.
Have your email and phone number listed with us so we can contact you if we run into any trouble finding you.

Yes, we do. Langjökull Ice Cave is a magical experience, the tour has no minimum age and is a wonderful option for the whole family. Whale Watching with our partner company Special Tours, has been a favourite with families traveling with young children, these guys have a great success rate in seeing whales (upwards of 98% in the summer time).

By far the best experience of the trip. Out tour guide Funnar was funny and very knowledgeable about the glacier. When I emailed the company the day before to confirm the meeting location they were very responsive and confirmed right away.
