South Iceland Safari !
Only available for school trips, scout trips or other similar youth groups.
The
South Iceland Safari combines a river rafting, caving and a great
daytrip to Hveragerdi town with lots of teambuilding games and a flying
fox! You can also add to this trip a horse riding trip on the Icelandic
Viking horse.
Intierary:
Day 1:
We
start with a fun game programm involving logic and teambuilding trials
ending with the crazy cool flying fox super slide over the Varmá River
and Varmá waterfall. After the slide we relax in the nearby swiming
pool and hot-tubs and eat dinner in local restaurant. If you want it is
possible to add a horse riding trip to this day, we would then ride in
the morning.
Day 2:
On
day two we start with a enlightening and exotic underground trip
through the Gjábakkahellir cave in Þingvellir national park. The trips
is guided by a geologist and reveals some the secrets behind Icelands
creation. After the cave trip we head up to Hvítá River for a one of
the greatest of Icelandic adventures, river rafting. During the raft
trip the kids have the option of cliff jumping into the glacial river.
After the rafting we will dine on a Viking BBQ fiesta in the boathouse.

waterproof jacket and pants, good hiking shoes are recommended,
swimming wear, towel and warm sweater that you don´t mind getting wet.
