River Party

RiverRafting on the Hvítá river right next door to Geysir.

The Hvítá river is a beautiful and fun river an one hours drive from Reykjavík. For over 20 years the RiverFun rafting trip has been Iceland´s most popular adventure activity. The river has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We raft for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river. No one should leave Iceland with out experiencing the power that its rivers contain and lay eyes on the scenic canyons of Brúarhlöð in Hvítá. After the river rafting we emerge at the Drumbo basecamp where an amazing viking feast awaits us. Delecious icelandic lamb wiht all the trimmings.

Guaranteed departures: Everyday at 9:00 or 12:30 from Reykjavik and 11:00 or 14:00 from Drumbo basecamp. Available from the 1st of May to the 1st of October.

Pick-up from Reykjavík available every day at 9:00 or 12:30. Distance from Reykjavik: 100 km. Duration of trip: 3-4 hours. Available: May to September (depending on weather). Minimum: 10 pax.
