I had a wonderful time in Iceland again some 14 days ago.

The volcano jeep tour was amazing, our guide was fantastic, and knew perfectly well where to bring us.

Drumbó Activity Center

Drumbó is the birth palce of adventure tourism in Iceland and Arctic Rafting´s base of operation for the Hvítá River. From there we have daily rafting and canoe trips all summer. Since 1997 adventure travellers have been visting this cozy countryside boathouse and it´s now the famous DrumBar Restaurant.

From Drumbó, Arctic Rafting operates river rafting: “RiverFun”, canoeing: “RiverRide”, combo trips, for example: river rafting & horse riding: “Rafting & Riding” and incentive trips; for example: “River Team Challenge”

We serve a lunch buffet at Drumbó everyday during summer between 12:00 and 13:30. This is a great and easy option for independent travellers, just remember to book your lunch when you book your rafting trip.

In Drumbó we have great facilities for welcoming any visitor. Changing rooms and showers are just some of the services offered there. We also have a restaurant which serves a great Icelandic summer barbeque for groups, sizzling lamb and baked potatoes a speciality, and the bartenders serve you cold beer while you relax after the trip!
